Tracey at Positive Note Dog Training is the best! She is The Dog Whisperer. We called her after adopting a large 1 year old husky from the shelter and needed help integrating him into the established pack of our 2 bonded huskies. The 6 and 7 year old were not happy with the newcomer and the pup's energy was too much for them. We thought we'd have to keep them separated forever, until we called Tracey. She not only helped the dogs she gave us the confidence that we needed. Whenever we thought it was just not going to work, enter Tracey with her positivity and awesome training tips. I cannot say enough about Tracey and her experience and knowledge of dogs. She is the absolute best. Without her our threesome would not be together today! Thanks Tracey!!!!!

We couldn't be more pleased with the expertise and knowledge that Tracey has given us. Tracey had helped us understand our Westie puppy better and taught us how to guide him to down the right path. Our 6 month old puppy, Louie, had come from a previous home where he had a reported case of biting. At the time, we did not know how to change this behavior and other bad behaviors that were learned {which were fear-based and misdiagnosed by another trainer} in the previous home. With Tracey's recommendations and extra effort, Louie's behavior has made a complete 180 and has become a success story.
We enjoy working with Tracey because she is very friendly, very approachable, and very patient when consulting us and interacting with Louie. We have been previous Westie owners for about 3 years where we have built up some dog ownership experience and are still continuing to learn. When interacting with Tracey, there is always something new that we learn from her that we never knew about. This learning experience has certainly helped us become better dog parents.
We have full trust in her, are lucky to know her, and is our go to person if we have any concerns about our Louie, who loves to give us kisses and be around us.

Dear Tracey,
It gives me great pleasure to write a letter for you to use for your site. Take whatever you want out of it and tweak it if you need to. I have nothing but good things to say. I hope I convey my genuine enthusiasm for all you did (and continue to do). I think my best bet would be to write it as a story.
We cannot thank Tracey Costa enough for her professionalism and expertise in the field of dog training. We thought our dog, Hunter, would have to find a new home -- we were sure of it. After aversive E-collar training done by another trainer, our dog had worse behavior than what we started with. My veterinarian recommended we contact Tracey. She has been a savior. With her patience and knowledge, she was able to undo the negative effect of prior aversive training and restored our relationship with Hunter. Hunter has secured his spot at home! He is more relaxed, friendly, obedient and we all have learned some new tricks! Hunter is now a true pleasure as a pet should be. I recommend Tracey to anyone who is in need of dog training whether it be for “bad behavior,” fine tuning of obedience or even new tricks. I have had dogs all my life and was impressed how much I needed to learn as well. We cannot thank Tracey enough and she comes highly recommended.
That being said, we are so thankful. We have had a few bumps but far less issues and less anxiety all around. We still need to have her back at some point so I hope we can set that up in the near future. I hope all as well. Thank you again.
